The book "Vicky the Viking and Knight Luce" was published by Polyandria Press, January 2025. Authors: me and Irina Zartajskaya :)
The main idea of the text and the visual part is to combine reality with children's fantasies, to show how they see and feel this world, paying attention to the difference between positive emotions that occur in the game and real worries and fears. But most importantly, I wanted to express what strength and bravery one can get when he cares for loved ones! And children may feel it even more strongly than adults.
The story begins: two little rabbits go for summer vacations to their beloved grandparents. They are bored so Luce imagines they are flying in a rocket.
They have a lot of friends and funny games.
But even good friends can get board..
And everybody knows when kids get bored, they don't come up with the best ideas.
They even can climb to the "forbidden attic".
And meet someone scary.
And little Vicky the Viking had to summon all his courage to face her fear.
But love can help us be brave enough
