Happy to represent you a part of my project!
These are illustrations to a story about one summer vacation adventures of two baby bunnies visiting their beloved grandparents. I really wanted to show how children see this world, show how their imagination adorns reality and the difficulties that face are no less serious than those of adults, it doesn't matter if these difficulties are imaginary or real. The story is about friendship, support and relationship between the older and younger generations.
The illustrations are made in natural watercolors, colored pencils and crayons and elements made with acrylic were added after digital processing.
For example, right after breakfast (strawberries from the royal gardens) we will play "FLOORISLAVA"! Not bad, huh? Fantastic! It's a pity, but poor adults have no idea about real adventures at all
Before lunch, it's so great to escape from the hungry maws of sea monsters! And then suddenly realize that you are also terribly hungry... It's interesting what Grandma cooked there today?
And in the evening you can just lie down among meadow grasses and flowers.. to chat about this and that.. and admire how all sorts of fairies, unicorns, dragons and aliens fly around.. Oh! The star has fallen! I managed to make a wish!
It's great, of course, to be a Viking.. but it's even more wonderful to spy on the magic that is happening in the house! I love my grandma and grandpa, even though they don't make a sign, they perfectly understand what delightfully terrible things are going on around!
I saw him in my dreams tonight... mom always comforts me they are unreal, there are no monsters, they only exist in fairy tales, but how can he be unreal if I am scared so much!
