A wonderful book by children's writer Marina Taranenko "Belka and Strelka. Space Adventures" with my illustrations published by "Nigma" publishing house, 2023, ISBN 978-5-4335-1104-0.
This is an artistic interpretation of the story of the flight of two famous dogs Belka and Strelka, who were the first to visit space and returned home! And also about the people who prepared them for this legendary flight.
A tiny but interesting detail - from the very first page of the story, a rocket starts, takes off, drops the modules, and then lands on a parachute on the ground and we see the dogs. It is very interesting for children to follow her movements throughout the story.
The book ends with the famous phrase of Yuri Gagarin, the first man to fly into space, "3..2..1.. Let's go!"
